SIP 2025 - Administrative Assistant (Metro Campus) at Tri-C Veteran and Military Services
VMCS is here to assist veterans as well as those who are military-connected, including those still serving or family members of a service member. We assist students with anything related to Veterans Affairs education benefits, GI Bill®, registration, scholarships or acclimation to campus life. The department also provides students with a computer lab, lounge, and quiet study areas.
Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.
20 hour per week. Serve as the first point of contact for the Veteran and Military Connected Services department. Greet students and family members. Help them locate the appropriate information or person to help them with their academic needs. Basic understanding of college resources and veteran benefits programs. Computer, copier and scanning skills necessary.

- Answer basic questions about campus resources.
- Ability to guide students to the correct place or person to help them locate the best sources of information.

Program Requirements
- Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
- Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
- Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
- Must have a declared major on record
This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
