SIP 2025 -Intern (District/Hybrid) at Tri-C Program Accreditation and Healthcare Initiatives

The Office of Program Accreditation and Healthcare Initiatives oversees accreditation for all specialized accreditation and
certification programs, including Nursing, Allied Health, and other specialty areas. Cuyahoga Community College has 46 specialized accredited programs. The department's support for these programs includes preparing for upcoming site visits (reaffirmation and initial accreditation), liaising with legal and risk management to address accreditor requirements, and informing the response. The office also includes the clinical compliance process, which supports all students in Nursing and Allied health with clinical agreements, site compliance processes, and education for program staff. Additionally the office also works with the Foundation office to identify funding sources for students (licensure fees), equipment for programs, and other expansion goals external and internal to the college.

Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Provides essential clerical support, performs various office tasks, and provides general customer service within the assigned department or external organization. Assists with report and survey generation to gather data to inform department improvements. General support for ongoing process improvement projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Word. Microsoft Excel, PPT, and use of Outlook (used to schedule meetings). 
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA guidelines. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Problem-solving and customer service-focused and the ability to time manage and establish priorities.

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
