SIP 2025 - Adult Diploma Program Assistant Intern (Metro/Hybrid) at Tri-C Adult Diploma Program

Providing individual residing in Ohio who have yet to receive their high school diploma or equivalent the opportunity to receive a State of Ohio Department of Education and Workforce-issued High school diploma and an industry-recognized credential. 

Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage Adult Diploma Program inquiries from the web page and set up Orientations.  
  • Answer all questions concerning the Adult Diploma Program from Inquiries via email and telephone calls from a prepared script. 
  • Send out a scripted email concerning the next steps
    Set-up Orientations
  • Prepare the Orientation box with material for 50 potential scholars. 
  • Send out confirmation emails. 
  • Send scripted post-orientation emails.
  • Secondary Function: Communicate with a potential scholarship student who attended orientation but did not participate in skill enhancement instruction. Also, orientation invitations should be sent to all students who registered for orientation but have not attended.
  • What the Student will need: Computer and Telephone 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Someone adept at internet research, and interested in research and interested in social justice, and developing resources for students. Research could be used through the Institute for Economic Mobility.

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
