The Sales and Marketing Intern assists the marketing team in development and implementation of marketing and advertising material and campaigns that encompass the Human Capital Management needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Investigate key sales channel, customer, and industry relationships and suggest ways to drive sale in a market and/or product category
- Develop targeted prospect list by gathering information from the internet, magazines and calling resources
- Assist in the creation of Social Media Posts
- Support the implementation of the CRM systems through data entry and maintenance
- Create, print and replenish Sales & Marketing materials as needed
- Research competitor products & services
- Other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Superior analytical skills to collect, analyze, summarize data, and clearly present findings
- Self starter able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be confident with telephone skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills are required
- Database or data mining experience a plus
- Interest in technology products or B2B marketing is preferred

Program Requirements
- Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
- Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
- Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
- Must have a declared major on record
This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
