SIP 2025 - Instructional Design Specialist (Hybrid) at Tri-C Client Solutions at Corporate College East

Corporate College delivers training and development solutions for organizations and individuals, offering an ideal combination of courses to help today’s professional increase proficiency in current skills or to gain new skills that improve both performance and productivity.  To provide best-in-class client solutions including learning, consulting, and conference and hospitality services to our business community and strategic partners.  

Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Working in partnership with the Client Solutions team, this role will work to enhance our curriculum by developing Mural boards and templates for our program areas.  Training topics include leadership development, diversity and inclusion, communications, quality, continuous improvement as well as project management. The goal is to develop interactive Mural boards for our most popular courses and client engagements.    

Responsibilities

  • Reference current curriculum including PowerPoint presentations and instructor notes to develop Mural templates for designated programs.
  • Ensure compliance to Corporate College brand format and the Tri-C/Corporate College marketing style guide.
  • Update instructor guides to have the Corporate College style for consistency.
  • Participate in a professional development training engagement to understand the use of the curriculum, technology and tools.
  • Design creative learning activities with dynamic imagery, engagement features, and audio/video clips to address the three learning styles including auditory, visual and kinesthetic learners.
  • Keep track of assignments completed.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in writing
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Mural, MS Copilot, and MS Teams
  • Excellent organizational and execution skills, focus on detail
  • Strong team player who can work independently as needed
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service required
  • This position will use the Mural digital visioning whiteboard tool.  If the candidate does not have direct experience in Mural, other similar tools are acceptable.

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
