SIP 2025 - RAT Intern (Metro Campus) at Tri-C Recording Arts and Technology
The Recording Arts and Technology program is a part of Tri-C's Creative Arts department. The RAT curriculum equips students for employment in various audio engineering paths such as studio music production, film and television, theater, and live sound reinforcement. RAT staff and faculty are professionals in the audio engineering industry with years of experience
Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.
The RAT Summer Internship is an audio workshop designed to help students explore various career paths in the audio industry. The program centers on weekly projects and peer review sessions, providing opportunities for students to enhance and refine their production skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred candidates are active students at Cuyahoga Community College majoring in Recording Arts and Technology.
- They should have a strong interest in audio production and music technology.
- Ideal candidates have successfully completed at least two semesters of Recording Arts and Technology courses, including RAT 1511: Recording Lab I.

Program Requirements
- Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
- Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
- Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
- Must have a declared major on record
This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
