SIP 2025 - Marketing Associate (Hybrid) at Mishi Lifestyle
Mishi Lifestyle is a sensory experience focusing on home decor, furniture, kitchen and bar decor and necessities as well as body and home scents, leather goods and jewelry. We guide our clients through the process of creating a home or commercial space into an environment that connects to emotions rather than simply the acquisition of material items. Our curated collection gives our clients an opportunity to learn about makers on a personal level by understanding why they produce their designs and what impact they have on their communities, the environment and our clients' satisfaction. In addition to our brick and mortar store in Lakewood OH, Mishi Lifestyle also offers Styling Services, Private Shopping Event options and pop-ups/workshops to support other small business owners.
Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.
As a Marketing Associate , you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales. This position requires a versatile individual who can handle a variety of marketing functions, from digital marketing to in-store promotions, with a focus on enhancing our presence in both the Lakewood community and the broader Cleveland area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in marketing strategies to promote seasonal product launches, store events, and sales promotions.
- Support social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.), including creating engaging content, responding to customer inquiries, and growing our online following.
- Assist email marketing campaigns including creating newsletters, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
- Create local advertising campaigns (print, digital, and outdoor) to drive foot traffic to the store.
- Collaborate with the store team to design in-store events and promotions that build excitement and increase customer loyalty.
Track, analyze and communicate marketing performance using analytics tools to optimize strategies and report on key performance metrics. - Assist with the visual merchandising to ensure marketing materials in-store are aligned with our brand image.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in retail marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for home decor and design.
- Proficient with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media scheduling tools, email marketing platforms).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with the Lakewood/Cleveland area is a plus.

Program Requirements
- Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
- Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
- Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
- Must have a declared major on record
This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
