Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Reaching Heights is seeking a motivated and creative Graphic Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced nonprofit environment and contribute to creating impactful visual materials that support our mission.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of creative materials for various projects, including print (brochures, flyers, posters, etc.) and digital (social media graphics, website elements, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to understand project goals and target audiences
- Work within brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual communication
- Conduct research and identify visuals (photography, illustrations) to support design concepts
- Assist with maintaining and updating the organization's graphic design library
- Stay up-to-date on current design trends and best practices
- May participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a graphic design program at an accredited college or university (or recent graduate)
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and ability to create visually appealing and impactful graphics
- Proficiency in design software (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a must
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- A passion for our mission and a desire to work in the nonprofit sector

Program Requirements
- Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
- Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
- Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
- Must have a declared major on record
This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
Note: International students are eligible for employment with on-campus/ internal Tri-C departments only.
