Reaching Heights is seeking a motivated and creative Graphic Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced nonprofit environment and contribute to creating impactful visual materials that support our mission.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of creative materials for various projects, including print (brochures, flyers, posters, etc.) and digital (social media graphics, website elements, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to understand project goals and target audiences
  • Work within brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual communication
  • Conduct research and identify visuals (photography, illustrations) to support design concepts
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the organization's graphic design library
  • Stay up-to-date on current design trends and best practices
  • May participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a graphic design program at an accredited college or university (or recent graduate)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and ability to create visually appealing and impactful graphics
  • Proficiency in design software (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a must
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • A passion for our mission and a desire to work in the nonprofit sector

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program. 

Note: International students are eligible for employment with on-campus/ internal Tri-C departments only.
