SIP 2025 -Live Event Sound and Lighting Intern (Off Campus) at Vertical Sound

Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Vertical Sound, a leading provider of sound, lighting, and event production services, is seeking interns to assist with live event production. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in audio and lighting setup, operation, and troubleshooting while working alongside industry professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with audio and lighting setup for live events.
  • Operate sound and lighting equipment during events.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Help with equipment maintenance and organization.

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
