SIP 2025 -Intern, Fab Lab (Metro Campus) at Tri-C Additive Manufacturing
The Additive Manufacturing/Ideation Station is committed to serving the Tri-C community, K-12 students and the general public. Additive Manufacturing, also commonly known as 3D Printing, is a process that allows individuals to create physical 3D objects directly from a computer design. We have open lab hours daily. In addition, we offer classes, camps and workshops throughout the year, and complete projects for internal and external customers.
Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.
Internship description:
Assist customers in fab lab and 3D printing labs. Support full time staff with projects and camps as well as monitoring the fab lab during lab hours. Assist with cleaning lab and equipment. Assist with creating and execute special projects. Assist with administrative duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- CAD experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Excellent customer service
- Declared major in engineering or creative arts
- Completion of at least two semesters
- Proficient in Photoshop
- Proficient in 3D CAD software

Program Requirements
- Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
- Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
- Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
- Must have a declared major on record
This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
