
SIP 2025 - Program Instructor Intern (Off Campus) at Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park
The Conservancy enriches people’s lives and enhances our region by inspiring use, preservation and support of Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP).
Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.
In this position, you would work alongside CVEEC Rangers and Program Instructors to deliver immersive outdoor learning experiences to 2nd-12th grade students at Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center. This could include supporting trail groups in hiking and activities, environmental education sessions, health and wellness programming, playing outdoor games, nature journaling, and art activities. You will learn how outdoor programming is developed, best practices in group facilitation techniques, connecting learning to the classroom, and how a unique learning center is run. You will also work with a great group of people in your Cuyahoga Valley National Park!
Preferred Qualifications
- Some experience with children preferred but not required.

Program Requirements
- Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
- Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
- Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
- Must have a declared major on record
This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program.
